clc @ the old shop
I know it happens every month, on the final sunday of each month, but what can I expect if I come to clc @ the old shop?
Exploring
The thing about these gatherings is that they'll never stop evolving or changing. The clc gatherings are about exploring God together as a church, understanding more of who he is, and going on a journey together.
Worshiping
Our response to who God is and what he's done, is known as worship. As a community, the loveluton gathering is the one meeting a month where we make this response through music, visuals and words. The rest of the month we are making the response through our actions - building church.
Inspiring
Usually when we gather together, someone shares with us their thoughts about life with God. It's food for the journey - and the aim is to give us something inspiring that changes the way we view God, ourselves and the world. We want to experience together the power of God.
Giving
It's not a big aspect of the gathering, but as you come in you can put money that you'd like to give to the work of the church in the loveluton purse. This will be the only place it makes an appearance over the course of a month - so if you'd like to give, you'll have to plan to bring some money!
Responding
Usually in the meeting there'll be the opportunity to respond to what is being shared. Maybe that will look like making a decision; or maybe praying with a friend about what's come up.
If you aren't a christian, then there'll be an opportunity to pray with someone else and make that commitment. Every time we gather together this opportunity will be there.
